I also think there are only a few brush types/features that are only available in Firealpaca (e.g. The differences are mainly the ease of using a cloud service to draw and manage your comic vs a singular person using Firealpaca. Don’t quote me on that, I just remembered this right now but I’m not sure anymore where from, it’s been quite a long time since then. I think back when MBP was a fork called Cloud Alpaca, it was posted somewhere official (on social media somewhere) that a separate team would be leaving the FA team to make CloudAlpaca. It is sometimes confusing enough on its own and it’s nice it can be a program that your old 2009 laptop run. For one thing, adding the features from MBP would probably over-complicate Firealpaca. I sort of agree with your point but I don’t think it is that clear-cut. It is because it is too much on their servers. This also might be reason why they have limited the amount of cloud storage with the MBP premium version. Firealpaca is a nice program and if it had more features it would not really work on lower-capability computers anymore, I think. Originally I thought that they made Medibang Paint to have a different audience and to avoid over-taxing firealpaca with the cloud features and cloud downloads. I guess they had their reasons for making them separate (not to mention that there are overall separate teams for the programs) so we will not see this happen. Well, Medibang Paint Pro WAS originally a fork of firealpaca. I wish the company could just make the two into one same art program, it doesn't make sense. Both art programs have their original brushes that can only be used on either program. Both FireAlpaca and Medibang Paint have the same program codes but FireAlpaca has more settings for brushes like the blend, pen pressure correction, and texture options. Since no one talks about this, it's weird and a shame that FireAlpaca has new updated brush edit settings and Medibang Paint doesn't have.
